More than 14,000 volunteers collected more than 100,000 pounds of ocean-bound trash from local watersheds as part of Heal the Bay’s 21st annual Coastal Cleanup Day! Despite blazing heat throughout the region, volunteers mobilized from 9 a.m. to noon at 65 sites to gather and remove 103,524 pounds of debris.
